A tough cast aluminum plate is small enough to be portable while still be large enough to measure most vehicle types. Covered in a luminescent industrial orange paint, the aluminum alloy chassis is still tough enough to handle any job. CAS platforms look tough and are built tough, with the orange paint being baked-on to the chassis for extra wear and tear.
Some of the capacities and higher resolutions include 1/2000 - 1/2500 making the RW series scale ideal for many different jobs. In addition to the tough exterior, the tough rubber ramps have enough grip for even the steepest conditions. By using rubber, the overall weight of the platform is reduces. The strength of the RW series scale is the almost unlimited variety of axel arrangements it can support through the use of "dummy plates" and the two movable weigh plates.
